The assault caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
